I was born in Paris of French parents who relocated to Montreal to escape war ravaged Europe. I am fluent in French and English. I have spent many summers working on family farms in the Vosges mountains and in Normandy. In 1965 my family relocated to Phoenix Arizona. That’s when I learned to speak English. I have also lived in Colorado, California and presently Long Island NY. I spent the 70's touring with major rock and jazz bands. I hung large sound systems in all of the major venues in America, I was a Roadie, Tour Manager and Sound Engineer. For the last 25 years I have been involved in building Quick International Courier, a $150M company that specializes in rush transportation and logistics. I am the founder of Alternative a company dedicated to finding elegant solutions and promoting them as alternatives to mainstream. Alternative aims to be a community portal, search engine and a model for healthy sustainable ecological living.
Education
I was fortunate to receive an early education in french private schools at Ecole Laspeyres, College Stanislas in Montreal and Lycée Lakanal, in Paris. I completed my education in english public schools at Glendale High School and Glendale Community College in Glendale Arizona. I am a recent graduate of the Anthony Robbins Mastery University and I am a firm believer in constant And never Ending improvements.
Career
My First job was as a shepherd in the Vosges mountains in France. I also worked on a farm in Normandy. I then sold dairy products in the open markets in Paris. When I came to America, I had a stint of jobs in the auto industry. Car washing and detailing, oil changes and service writer at a Buick dealership. This started my love affair with American cars in the 60s. I then worked as a draftsman mapping the cabling running under the streets of Phoenix. After wandering around europe in 1970, I came back to the states and started a career in the music industry. I was a roadie, sound engineere and tour manager. I toured all over the US and Canada. I Specialized in flying sound systems, tuning monitors and mixing live sound. I met my wife Linda on the road. She was Alice Cooper’s Wardrobe mistress. After 12 years of traveling I decide to call it quits and change career. I started a small package delivery service called Fast Forward in Los Angeles. This small company then became the LA office of Quick Internal Courier. Today, 26 years later I am the Chief Information Technology Officer for Quick.
